Changing Ends is a six-part series for ITVX and ITV1 adapted from Alan Carr’s autobiography about life growing up in Northampton in the 1980s, the son of a fourth division football manager.

Carr appears as himself in present day scenes, with Belfast actor Oliver Savell playing the role of young Alan.

Playing Alan’s parents Graham and Christine are Shaun Dooley (Gentleman Jack) and Nancy Sullivan (Call the Midwife). They are joined by Taylor Fay as Alan’s younger brother Gary.

Also starring as Alan’s neighbours are Rourke Mooney and Gabby Best as Charlie and Angela, with Harry Peacock playing Nigel.
